| With all of this graduation going on, I started thinking about my graduation next year. And it's gonna be aWeSoMe! Here's why: Sometimes the graduates lead a worship time after the actual graduation, and the class of '08 could totally put together a little band to make a really great worship service. Josh J. plays the bass, John M. plays the drums, Nicole plays the piano and sings, Julia sings, Chandler plays the guitar, and I play the violin. Okay, really stupid that I'm already thinking of this, I know. But it's just so exciting! In one year I'll be finished with high school and I'll (hopefully) know where I'm going to college. Wowzerz. Here's a happy thought: I leave for China in, like, 3 weeks! | |

| No matter how tough things get, no matter how much rotten, smelly junk fills up your day, no matter how much you mess up over and over and over and over and over and over again, it really doesn't matter, 'cause there will always be so much more of the good stuff to match the bad stuff, and then some. Isn't that just the GrEaTeSt?? " . . .where sin abounded, grace abounded much more . . ." (Rom. 5:20b) As long as your faith is in Christ Jesus, you get to hang on to those words that can make your day, or your life for that matter, SO much better 8 ) | | |
| I haven't visited this blog in a while, but it's kinda fun to come back and look around and post every once in a while. Here's what's on my mind tonight: I hate it when people change. Especially when they change over time, but I don't know about it until I'm told. Then over a matter of seconds, my view of someone is completely swapped around. I know that people have to grow, and learn, and mature, and experience new and different things, and look at the world through different perspectives. But I just really really really really wish that things could stay as simple as I like them to be. | | |
| Right now i'm eating a big, crusty piece of Papa John's pepperoni pizza, and every bite is being soaked in a sauce made of buttery goodness. Ahhh . . . pure bliss. Apart from this, the only other thing going on in my life is that I'm teaching myself to play the flute. Hehe! Yesterday,I got mom's old middle school flute out from the closet and printed a fingering chart from the internet, and now I can successfully play a song : ). It's called : little song. Ok, so, kinda pathetic. What can I say? It's hard work! I get dizzy after just a couple notes. Let's just say it's good that I'm not a wind player. Well, I'm off to practice. Maybe I'll be able to play a 'big song' soon. Maybe not. | | |
